You know what? I love this family. Yup. And pretty sad they have up and headed to the Lone Star state!

We had so much fun with them that it was actually kinda hard to stay focused! Luckily cute kids + a couple in love + hay rides = an EASY shoot!

We are so happy to have been able to do this with not only this amazing family, but with the hand that writes such an amazing blog! Christy writes High Heels 2 Flip Flops. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! Cleaver, funny, entertaining, and frequently updated!

Scott Smith Sound was in studio Oct 6th… Elevated Films was there. Here are a few stills.

We are excited to be in production of S.S. Sound’s new Video for that new song!

The very talented Dan Buehner (lead singer of The Trappers) was the mix master, and he mixed up a mean batch of Scott Smith Sound tunes!

We just shot the second scene tonight at a well known Bountiful hot spot.

Unreal!

It has been such a great time here at elevated films the past month or so! From weddings to super-stars (Deron Williams!), and from big stages (The Trappers) to first days (Pearl’s first day of pre-school), we have had a lot of fun!

We are in the middle of a LOT of editing right now. Which has been pretty cool to see some of the raw footage develop into something amazing!

Thank you so much for all the fun you have allowed us to have with you as we have filmed some of your most incredible events. It is an honor to be included in such amazing moments, and we look forward to MUCH MUCH MORE!

A freaky weird event took place in our world a few weeks ago… our first born became a scholar!

O.K., so she attended her first day of pre-school. Same thing.

What a strange feeling to see your little girl, who took 16 months to walk, run into preschool with a backpack draping down to the back of her knees.

A flood of thoughts came over me from when I first held her, to when she used to sit on my knee and watch hours of college football, to when she “penned” her first love song;

“Here comes the prince. Here comes the prince. The prince is come… to me!”

Anyway, Stacey put together a cute little video of that first day that has captured that moment for us.

We have some really cool shoots coming up!

-We are going to be working with The Trappers on a music video.

-We will be at Deron Williams & Kyle Korver’s Charity event; The Dodge Barrage!

-Our first team shoot is in the works as well!

I will be updating this blog from now on with what is going on with elevated films.

We still have not sold ourselves on a landing pad for all our media(for now we will be sticking some of it here); elevatedfilms.com is ours, but we are looking at some different choices on where to stick the name:)
